Eku Eku Bakery was born from childhood memories, meaning, and a quiet love for thoughtful baking.

I grew up in a home where cakes and puddings were inseparable from celebrations. Watching my mother bake — effortlessly and intuitively — left a lasting impression on me. The birthday cake my mom made for me, each year remains one of my most cherished memories: simple, soulful, and made with love.

When I moved to the US in 2021, something shifted. I missed home in ways I hadn't expected — not just the people or the places, but the taste of it. The desserts I found here were beautiful, but so many felt hollow to me. Too sweet. Too rich. Made to impress, not to nourish. I kept searching for something that felt honest — and when I couldn't find it, I started making it myself.

I believe the smallest things hold the most meaning. A single slice of cake, shared across a table, can say everything words can't. That's what I bake for. That's what this is.

Eku Eku is more than a bakery to me. It is an expression of intent, built on trust — where every sweet treat is meant to be savoured, shared, and felt. Where your health is never an afterthought. Where every bite is meant to bring you back home.
