Eku Eku Bakery was born from childhood memories, meaning, and a quiet love for thoughtful baking.

I grew up in a home where cakes and puddings were inseparable from celebrations. Watching my mother bake, effortlessly and intuitively, left a lasting impression on me. The birthday cake she made for me each year, remains one of my most cherished memories: simple, soulful, and made with love.

I began baking at the age of 14, drawn to the calm and creativity it offered. Though I never imagined it as a career in my early years, baking stayed with me—steadily and patiently—waiting for its moment.

When I moved to the US a few years ago, I found myself longing for the flavors of home. I often struggled to find desserts that felt balanced—never overly sweet, always made with clean, honest ingredients.

2025 is when Eku Eku Bakery was born !

Eku Eku is more than a bakery. It is an expression of mindful living—where sweet treats are meant to be savoured, shared, and most importantly make you feel like you’re home.
